Mercedes-Benz Class Action
A class action in the Supreme Court of Victoria claims Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles emitted nitrogen oxides above permitted levels because they contained a 'defeat device'. People who acquired an interest in an affected vehicle in the stated period may be group members and can register with Piper Alderman.

- People who acquired an interest in a Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicle in Australia (including on hire purchase) between 1 January 2008 and 22 January 2024. The vehicle must be of the same engine type as the plaintiff's vehicle and fitted with a 'defeat device'. If the vehicle is not the same engine type, the page says people may register if they meet the first two criteria.
